Medelserhütte SAC

The Medelser hut lies directly at the junction between the valleys of Val Plattas and Val Lavaz, with a high-Alpine landscape filled with glaciers and craggy cliffs. Sitting on the terrace, you can enjoy a gorgeous panoramic view in the fresh air or from the warm lounge should the weather turn nasty. Surrounded by the large windows, you will feel close to nature even when you are inside. Close by the hut there is an inviting, crystal-clear mountain lake, Lai Encarden, which is perfect for a picnic or midday snooze. Hiking time from Curaglia: 3.5 hours
