Milez Valley Hike - Chamut - Dieni
Show all 9 images
We first start our tour with a breeze ride on the chairlift to Milez, where we are in the middle of the lively skiing operation. The terraces of the mountain restaurants Milez and the alpine hut Las Palas seduce us to a stop with coffee and cake. Afterwards we start our hike on a wide, groomed hiking trail. We leave the pretty maize water behind us and immerse ourselves in the silence of the winter landscape, first just out and later gently sloping down to Tschamut. On the way we find a bench from time to time - we take our time.
From Tschamut we walk on the pass road back to Dieni. However, there is almost no traffic because the Oberalp Pass is closed to car traffic in winter.
If you don't want to hike the whole round, take the train in Chamut for the return trip to Dieni.
The hiking trail to Tschamut is not safe for tobogganers.
The road from Chamut to Dieni is mostly snow-free.
