Preserving the dry stone walls of Ragisch together

As a replacement for the new suspension bridge, we have a special project: the repair of the dry stone walls in Ragisch. These walls are not only an important part of our cultural landscape, but also a valuable testimony to the history of our mule track over the Lukmanier Pass.
With the support of Sep Benedetg Candinas from Sumvitg, a recognized expert in the traditional construction of dry stone walls, we have the opportunity to preserve and restore these valuable structures under expert guidance.
It is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the best and to actively participate in the preservation of our historic landscape. In the week from 7 to 11 October 2024, we will collect stones together, prepare them and repair the wall. At the same time, we will cut shrubs and maintain the surroundings of la pendenta. Every day we need 5-6 motivated helpers. With and without previous knowledge.

Your mandatory participation - ideally the whole week, but also on a daily basis - is a valuable support for our association. It not only strengthens cohesion, but also gives each individual the opportunity to make a visible contribution that lasts.
