Quellgebiet Rhone

The Rhone rises at the foot of the Rhone glacier and is also called "der Rotten" in German. After leaving the Alps, it flows through Lake Geneva and, after 800 kilometres, flows into the Mediterranean Sea with a delta in southern France.
