Suspension bridge made of larch wood

Hängebrücke aus Lärchenholz

This exceptional suspension bridge spans the Val Mutschnengia with around 100 metres. It was made in 2011 by forest warden apprentices from 17 cubic metres of local larch wood. The learners were guided but at the same time encouraged to think along. Sometimes it was also had to be improvised. Especially in forestry construction, good, practical action in many situations is decisive in terms of whether a building succeeds or not.
