Alp Puzzetta Trail

From Fuorns we hike uphill on the snow-covered alpine road in wide bends. The slope is leisurely and if there is already a trace, we have enough air to chat. With fresh snow it is more strenuous, but the snow-covered forest, interspersed with particularly powerful and gnarled firs, compensates in many ways. In between, clearings open up and the view becomes clear, up and down the valley. Alpine huts along the way duck under the heavy load of snow and traces tell us that deer, chamois or rabbits are at home here. Shortly before the Alp Puzzetta we leave the forest behind us, the roof of the hut becomes visible and a little later we marvel at the courageous architecture that we have in front of us here! The contrast, red building, blue sky and white snow is impressive. We are looking for a picnic spot in the sun and take our time before we hike back down the same route. In between, it may also be shortened and snow whirled up efficiently.

At the parking lot in Fuorns we find the pink signpost that leads us on the road to Alp Puzzetta. The descent takes place on the same path - but shortcuts are possible in open terrain.
