Description

"Giuli", a funny ibex accompanies you on this wild herb nature trail and shows you his Heimat.Er tells interesting facts about herbs in their natural environment and their use in the kitchen.

On the way on the nature trail you will find numbered posts next to certain plants, which are explained in a herb primer. From spring to autumn, fragrant or tasty herbs grow that invite you to try them out.

From mid-August, not all flowers and herbs are available.

Geheimtipp

Be sure to take the wild herb primer with you, which is especially suitable for the path. It is available at the Sedrun Tourist Office: CHF 14.00

Sicherheitshinweis

Do not eat unknown plants.

Ausrüstung

Take a cloth bag with you so that the herbs can be collected correctly. Only suitable in dry weather.

Directions

We start on the Oberalp Pass downhill along the road. After a short time, at the tunnel entrance of the train, we change to the other side of the road and thus reach a wide hiking trail towards Taschamut. The path leads partly on the old route of the railway and is very promising. On the way it has a picnic area.
